CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
As a result of the far-sighted policy of the respected President, a new powerful support has emerged in the Turkmen economy. Evidence of this is the opening and commissioning on June 28 of this year in the Akhal velayat of the newest modern industrial complex in the world - a plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas. This plant, opened with the participation of the distinguished President, was built as a result of the joint efforts of the Turkmengas state concern and the consortium of companies Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. (Japan) and Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri Inşaat Sanaýi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Turkey). This modern industrial building is provided with the latest scientific technologies and equipment of world famous manufacturers from the United States of America, Great Britain, France, Holland, Switzerland, Japan, Korea, India and other countries. The GTG project (gas to gasoline) is based on TIGAS technology developed by the Danish company Haldor TopSоe.
The plant will annually produce 600 thousand tons of ecologically pure synthetic gasoline ECO-93, which corresponds to the EURO-5 standard, as well as 115 thousand tons of liquefied gas from by-products and 12 thousand tons of purified diesel fuel that does not contain sulfur. This synthetic fuel is distinguished by its perfect environmental friendliness. When using this brand of fuel in the exhaust gases of automobiles, the content of sulfur oxides is reduced 50 times, nitrogen oxides - 5 times, carbon oxide - 2 times and hydrocarbons - by 20 percent.
Planning for the future construction of gas chemical complexes in other velayats of the country is a kind of evidence of the sustainable and successful implementation of the energy strategy in Turkmenistan.
