This holiday is celebrated on June 27 in the year of "Turkmenistan – Home of Neutrality" coinciding with the culture week held in Dashoguz velayat on June 22-27. This is a sign of the great unity and solidarity of Turkmen culture, art, and literature.
In recent years special attention is paid to the further development and improvement of the cultural system, as well as the professional development of the staff of this system. Our county has achievements in all fields, especially in political, economic, and cultural nature. Today, Turkmenistan has all the necessary conditions and ample opportunities for the prosperity of culture, art, and literature, also to hold international level events, festivals, exhibitions, and concerts.
Our country makes a significant contribution to the continuous development of good relations between the countries of the world. Magtymguly Pyragy's poems have been published as separate books in more than thirty countries around the world until today. These books provided the formation of friendship and brotherhood between nations with a wonderful bridge of humanity.
Magtymguly Pyragy’s wisdom is a perfect tutoring school for all creative workers in our country. At this holiday wide range of cultural events will be held in all parts of the country symbolizing the inextricable link between the glorious history of the Turkmen people and the rich cultural heritage. These events will ensure further strengthening the unity of our people and bringing harmony to our society.
