CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
The Turkmen people who have made a great contribution to human values have a glorious history. If you delve into the history, you will see that the Turkmen land is one of the centers of origin of perfect democratic traditions. The famous archaeologist V.Sarianidi in his scientific works announced to the World that in ancient Margush, the fifth cradle of human civilization, people of different religions lived in unity and harmony. Such fair principles as rational management of society, comprehensively take into account the interests of representatives of all strata of citizens, etc., are manifested in all elections held in our country with all national characteristics. So it was at the elections to the place of the early retired deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the velayat, etrap, city Halk maslahaty and Gengeshes in March 31, 2019 in some districts of the country. And also these elections demonstrated that the people of Turkmenistan participate in state affairs with great enthusiasm, responsibly and in a businesslike manner.
In all polling stations in a festive atmosphere, for the first time young voters who came to the polling stations respected elders, together with members of election commissions, presented souvenirs, which gave this social and political event a rich national nuance.
Many candidates claimed the same place as deputies of the Mejlis, members of the Halk Maslahaty and Gengeshes, political parties and groups of citizens, and this fully demonstrates that democratic principles in modern Turkmen society have taken powerful roots.
Observation of the elections at all polling stations was carried out by national observers. They confirmed that the elections were held on an alternative and democratic basis, in accordance with the current legislation, generally accepted canons of international law, and this is a sign that such important political events in Neutral Turkmenistan are organized in accordance with high world standards.

In the elections of deputies of the Mejlis has voted 91,12% of voters in the election of members of the velayat and Ashgabat city Halk maslahaty and 90.86% of the voters, the election of members of the etrap, city Halk maslahaty 90.71% of voters in the election members of the Gengeshes voted 90,90% of voters and it indicates a high political activity of our citizens.
