CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
A joint meeting of the two chambers of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan was held on April 14, year of «Turkmenistan – Homeland of Peace and Trust» in the building of the Conference hall of the white marble capital. Specialists from the Central Commission for Holding Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan have also attended this meeting. So, we interviewed their heartfelt pride moment.

— In our historic days of great preparation for the glorious 140th anniversary of our beautiful white marble Ashgabat city along Chandybil Avenue with one of the most beautiful places of the capital, the solemn opening of the magnificent building of the Apparatus of Halk Maslahaty at the foothold of Kopetdag and the holding of the first session of the first convocation of the new chamber of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan was an unforgettable moment of pride. The holding of a joint meeting of the two chambers of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan at the Conference hall has also become a memorable event for every one of us.
As a result of the unanimous support of the members of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh, the announcement of the election of our esteemed President to the post of Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan by secret ballot has increased our pride and joy.
The joint historic meeting of the two chambers of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan was a celebration of the strengthening of the democratic and legal foundations of our permanent Neutral State, it was a celebration of the principles of real people’s sovereignty. This is clear proof that representatives of all structures of life are firmly united around our Hero Arkadag.
Our esteemed President is making a great effort to live, work, build and create a worthy life for our compatriots and brings prosperity to our stable Motherland.
As our esteemed President noted in a meaningful historical speech at a joint meeting of the two chambers of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan: «Members of the Halk Maslahaty should also pay close attention to the work of the local representative government and self-government bodies. In this regard, the main task should be to improve the legal framework of these institutions and to expand their legislation to help their work. They need to develop relevant proposals to improve cooperation with other authorities and administrations and appropriate proposals for dealing with the Government of our country».

Witnessing world-famous historical events such as the eve of the glorious 30th anniversary of our sacred Independence is a sign of happiness, prosperity, and statehood in our neutral state.
I am glad that I was fortunate enough to attend a joint meeting of the two chambers of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan which was held in the building of the Conference hall in our capital city Ashgabat.
Our esteemed President is making a great effort to live, work, build and create a worthy life for our compatriots and brings prosperity to our stable Motherland.
Citizens of Turkmenistan have the right to participate in the affairs of society and the state, as well as through freely elected representatives or elected state authorities or local self-government bodies. Citizens of Turkmenistan also have the right to work in the civil service in accordance with their abilities and vocational training. Our esteemed President noted that every citizen of our country has the right to receive state support for housing, housing acquisition, and construction of independent housing as well as for social security.
Our National Leader spoke at length on important tasks facing the members of the Halk Maslahaty in regards to improving the legislation of political, economic, social, and cultural development of the state.
We were very proud to hear the profound speech of our Hero Arkadag.
