Under the wise guidance of our President Arkadag, who has great respect for our spiritual values it has become a noble tradition in our country to celebrate the Culture and artists and poetry day of Magtymguly Pyragy on June 27 every year with a grand ceremony at the state level.
As the Turkmen leader noted: "This date forms the interconnectedness and integrity of our national culture, art, and literature, it further enhances the importance of art and poetry in life. Because culture is the heart of the people, art is the dignity of the nation." This is a sign of great respect for culture and art in our Independent, eternally Neutral Turkmenistan, as well as for the Magtymguly Pyragy's artistic creativity.
Honoring our culture as the heart of the people, our President pays special attention to the development of this system. As a result, great work is being done to improve the work of the cultural system, to study our art scientifically and to spread it around the world. Culture and artists and Magtymguly Pyragy's poetry day which is considered as a holiday of happiness and prosperity of the turkmen people is a clear proof of the great importance of national unity, prosperity, and stability in society. Our people live in a time when the high dreams expressed in the Magtymguly Pyragy's poems the wisdom and patriotism are coming true.
For almost three centuries now, Magtymguly has been living in the minds and hearts of not only turkmens, but also millions of people around the world who can respect the word.
To this day the poems of Magtymguly Pyragy have been published in more than thirty countries around the world. These books provided for the formation of a wonderful bridge of humanity, friendship and brotherhood between nations. That is why famous scholars and writers of different countries are studying the works of Magtymguly Pyragy. This is clear evidence that Magtymguly Pyragy's popularity is growing year by year. By the way, acollection of Magtymguly Pyragy's poems has been translated into many languages of the world, including turkish, russian, english, azerbaijani, arabic, armenian, belarusian, kazakh, uzbek, tajik, georgian, ukrainian, chinese, japanese, romanian and other languages.
Works on the comprehensive development and improvement of our national culture and art under the auspices of our esteemed President in the prosperous period of our sovereign state inspires a source of inspiration of cultural and artistic figures.
The state policy in the field of culture and art is aimed at enhancing the spiritual values of the turkmen society, strengthening the cultural and moral values and spiritual integrity of the people. The current achievements of the cultural system in the construction of socio-cultural facilities in all regions of the country, in their reconstruction, in strengthening the material and technical base of cultural institutions, in the restoration and development of various forms of art, and also broad international cultural and educational relationship.
Respect of our esteemed President to our wise fathers and great personalities, who deserve the spiritual heritage, creativity and love of the people, also, great attention to culture, art, creativity makes our people happy and inspires us to work, create, build with more passion, inspiration.
The importance of Magtymguly Pyragy's works which lived in the eighteenth century, the founder of the turkmen classical literature is increasing in our time.
Our hero Arkadag has signed a resolution to mark the 300th anniversary of the great thinker and classical poet of the East Magtymguly Pyragy in 2024. A number of measures are planned to be taken in this regard. In particular, an in-depth study of the rich literary heritage of Magtymguly Pyragy, who is one of the golden treasures of all mankind and in order to preach widely in the world, it is intended to create a special internet portal dedicated to the life and work of the famous 18th century poet.
Our classical poet, the beacon of our poetic art, a wise human, a sage person whose creativity is ingrained in wisdom and the personality who lived the real life of his people - Magtymguly Pyragy is important to note with pride that the golden lines are also very important in educating the new generation of our people in the spirit of patriotism, high spirituality and morality.
In our festive Land in the year "Turkmenistan is the homeland of peace and trust", in the days leading up to the glorious 30th anniversary of our sacred Independence the Culture and artists and Magtymguly Pyragy's poetry day will be celebrated in Lebap velayat from June 22 to 27 this year, coincides with the Culture week which will be held with great rejoicing. This is a symbol of the great unity and solidarity of turkmen culture, art and literature.
May the life of our Hero Arkadag, the patron saint of culture and art, lead our country to a brighter future with a clear path of development and change, good deeds for the nation and the world be nourished by further prosperity!
