CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
During the Powerful new era of the Sovereign state in our land, in accordance with the Decree of our esteemed President, the noble principles of our forefathers, oraza bayramy is widely celebrated at the state level. Turkmen people pay special attention to this ancient holiday, which celebrates spiritual values, such as spiritual purity and moral purity, humanity and kindness, gratitude.
Announcing the coming of the month of oraza in our peaceful country, the group of happy children flocking from house to house, the month of oraza began with the recitation of good prayers, as taught by the older generations when they went to each house.
The Turkmen people pay special attention to the month of oraza as a sacred month of physical and spiritual purification.
Fasting during the holy month of oraza, which is the head of the months, and purifying your heart and soul is one of the main features of the month of oraza. Because a fasting person feels pure, light and thirsty.
In one of the hadiths of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Fast, may your body be strong and healthy, everything has a zekat. Zekat on the body is fasting." By fasting, we protect the body from disease. Fasting protects a person from hearing bad words, from seeing mistakes, from greed.
As our wise poet Magtymguly Pyragy praised, "Ýigrimi dört sagat on iki aýda, remezan diýerler aýyň ýagşysyn", the month of oraza is the month in which the holy Qur'an was revealed to mankind. The month of oraza is rated in our nation as a month of charity and contentment, honesty and good deeds. The month of oraza is a month full of blessings and purity. In this month one of the five obligatory, the fasting is performed, resentments are forgotten, sins are forgiven.
The "Gadyr gijesi" which has cost more than a thousand nights, is the best moment of the month. Worship, goodness, and humanity on a night of Gadyr are considered to be equivalent to the blessings of a thousand months. On this auspicious, well-prayed and worshipful night, the united turkmen people spread their tables in their sacred homes, cooked various dishes and offered them to their neighbors.
Our esteemed President according to the noble tradition, in honor of this holy month, blessed night, signed the Decree "On the pardon of convicts" for their crimes. 514 of our repentant citizens have been forgiven, and they have returned to their holy homes in this generous month. Our President: "By holding the action of a pardon, we will allow repentant people to wash their sins with their pure work and take an active part in the development of our country" that is to say, guides the people who committed crimes to a pure, right path. This is a clear indication that the state attaches great importance to the development of our society on the basis of humanitarian principles.
Iftar alms are conduct in our country on the occasion of the month of oraza, tarawa prayers are held on for the well-being of our homes, the peace of our dear Motherland, the happiness and unity of our people, and the well-being of our esteemed President.
In this month, our pilgrim Arkadag on the eve of the noted day of his father Malikguly aga gave the iftar alms at the specially prepared site near the cemetery Abyl Işan located in the township of Yzgant in the Gokdepe etrap of the Ahal velayat.
Our esteemed President also gave alms at the Hezreti Omar mosque in the capital on the occasion of his grandfather Malikguly aga's noted day. This good deeds is one of the good rites inherited from our forefathers, draws the people to good deeds, to moral and spiritual purity.
And the day after the end of the holy month of oraza, Holiday prayers are held in all parts of our free country, the holiday alms are given, and Oraza holiday is full of joy and celebration.
Thus, in the year of "the Era of the People with Arkadag" the month of oraza embodies many of our national traditions and customs, it ends with the unification of good and bright deeds.
Let it be! In order for the fruitful work to be carried out in our country to be nourished by prosperity and to continue the happy life of our people, good prayers for our esteemed President be accepted in the presence of Allah!
