CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
Under the wise leadership of our esteemed President at the new Powerful era of Sovereign state in our beautiful country special attention is paid to the protection of the environment, ecological well-being and biodiversity and also the scope of its work is expanding.
In Turkmenistan, under the National forestry program, the annual spring and autumn planting season is in full swing.
As we know, after assuming a high state post our esteemed President the first the first participating event was a launching the spring season of public gardening ceremony, is a symbol of the continuation of the noble work of our national Leader. This testifies to Turkmenistan's commitment to fulfilling its environmental obligations. As a result, our beautiful capital, Ashgabat, and our velayats are full of garden.
As you know, at a recent meeting of our esteemed President with the Cabinet of Ministers on digital was reported that good news has been received from the permanent mission of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Organization’s office in Geneva. That is, the UN economic commission for Europe has issued an international certificate to Ashgabat for its support and contribution to the "Gardens in cities" initiative.
The arrival of such a good news from the prestigious International Organization lifted the spirits of our compatriots and raised their heart’s spirit. This certificate is a commendable tribute to our dear people for their tireless efforts to protect nature.
By the way, it is noteworthy that Turkmenistan was one of the first to join the UN agreements on environmental protection, environmental disaster prevention and nature protection. Even these days, ensuring a high level of environmental security, turning cities and villages into orchards is one of the important directions of the domestic and foreign policy pursued by our esteemed President. Over the years, more than 145 million orchards have been planted in Turkmenistan on the initiative of our esteemed Arkadag. Mass planting has become a noble tradition in the lives of our people. The planting of 25 million trees for the 25th anniversary of our Eternal Neutrality, 30 million trees for the 30th anniversary of our sacred Independence, opening ceremonies of new facilities, weddings for young couples, gardens dedicated to the birth of a child ... Tens of millions of rooted, lush, orchards planted with the public, add beauty to the beauty of turkmen nature.
"We will continue to work on turning our country into orchard, using the latest advances in science and modern technology. Today, gardening in Turkmenistan contributes to the improvement of natural areas, and has become a role model for every turkmen" as emphasize our esteemed President, and it is clear that this important and noble tradition will continue to be widely practiced in the future.
