Under the wise leadership of our esteemed President, in the year full of holidays and events, the “Epoch of the people with Arkadag” in our beloved Fatherland is again a double holiday. Every year on May 25, our country celebrates the “Soňky jaň” (Last Bell) ceremony and celebrates the day of the city of Ashgabat with great solemnity. There is no limit to the joy of young people - graduates, graduating from higher and secondary educational institutions, taking the first step into a great life, with hearts filled with fire, thirsty for knowledge! Join their joy, be proud, understand the state of mind of young people, what happiness it is!
Ashgabat, which has become one of the most beautiful cities in the world, shines like a pearl of the ancient Earth, like a beautifully woven carpet. The majestic white marble buildings erected within its wide limits deserve real praise. Going to work in the morning, you also get a unique, uplifting pleasure from contemplating the wide avenues of a beautiful city - the pearl of Asia.
The ever brighter image of Ashgabat, the capital of our country, makes our people feel proud. In good spring weather, the capital acquires a unique beauty. The beauty of Ashgabat, which looks even more beautiful on wonderful spring days that excite the heart, deserves a separate destan.
Charming bright colors of wonderful and fresh flowers growing so beautifully, cool shade of ornamental trees is the decoration of sidewalks, fresh spruce forests surrounding the foothills of Kopetdag awaken in the heart an unbreakable love for nature. Our garden city Ashgabat is a place of beauty and purity. When there is cleanliness around you, the mood rises, you become cheerful, the heart overflows and the passion for work increases.
A completely different pleasure from contemplation, adding beauty to Ashgabat, fountains that emit a delightful sound of light drops. Our magnificent capital, which took its image from the springs, is beautiful like a Turkmen carpet that has become a fine and perfect art, rich in beauty.
Today Ashgabat is not only a sparkling white marble city, but also a world–famous regional center of reconciliation, friendship and international relations. It should be noted with pride that every year the role and importance of our capital in the world community as a conciliatory and business center increases.
Today Ashgabat has become the center of world and international conferences and forums, exhibitions and competitions. Foreign guests who came to the celebrations express their admiration for the architectural features of Ashgabat. Many buildings under construction in our White City are designed for conferences and forums of international level. An example of this is the recent Inter-Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian States and the Russian Federation, as well as the dialogue of women of Central Asian States and Russia.
Flowers of Ashgabat deserve a separate ode. It is gratifying that these flowers are widely cultivated in the capital's nurseries. The creation of inscriptions from flowers, drawing up figures from trees is a positive experience gained in the flower and garden industry of Ashgabat.
White houses, beautiful flowers, green gardens – all these are wonderful fruits of the great work of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on a bright path, pleasing to the eyes and hearts. Our city is a unique work of art, which is based on the harmony of nature with white marble high–rise buildings. There are dozens of parks with dense thickets of trees and fresh air on the outskirts of Ashgabat.
It should be particularly noted that forest zones have been created in the southern part of Ashgabat and they are expanding every year. Also in the year of the “Epoch of the People with Arkadag” of the period of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, noble events are successfully continuing to transform all corners of the country and the capital into a blooming garden.
A striking example of this is the ceremony of the beginning of the spring mass planting of trees in all regions of the country on March 20 at the initiative of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
This is a brighter evidence that the positive work done to protect the environment and turn our country into a garden based on the visionary initiatives of our esteemed Arkadag continues in the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state.
Article 24 of our Basic Law defines “The capital of Turkmenistan is the city of Ashgabat”. Our capital city of Ashgabat, which amazes those who see it, is the pride and joy of all Turkmen people living a happy, prosperous life. The glory of our white city, being a song, melody, verse, lives in the heart of every citizen of our sacred country.
That is why in our calm, peaceful country, on May 25, Ashgabat Day and the “Soňky jaň” are celebrated together and with great enthusiasm, celebrations and cultural events.
We cordially congratulate our esteemed President and all Turkmen citizens on the Day of Ashgabat and the celebration of the “Soňky jaň”.
We wish our esteemed President, who, during the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, leads our people to new heights of development with the speed of a horse, carries out work for the benefit of the people and of universal importance, health and longevity!
