CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
Every day of our country, under the wise leadership of our esteemed President at the new Powerful period of new era of the Sovereign state is filled with unforgettable and joyful historical events. On the eve of the 31st anniversary of our holy Independence, which is the main holiday of the country, the Dovlet Maslakhaty, which was held under the chairmanship of our esteemed President, following the noble traditions passed down from our ancestors and the principles of statehood of our people was one of such wonderful events.
– We also had a chance to talk with Maksatmyrat Geldiyev, head of the Organizational management of apparatus of the Commission for holding Elections and referendums in Turkmenistan, who participated in that Dovlet Maslakhaty, and recorded his heart's pride.
– One of the special features of this year's Dovlet Maslakhaty is that it is being held in the first year of the new Powerful period of new era of the Sovereign state, which was initiated by the election of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov as the head of state by the people. During the celebration of the 31st anniversary of our holy Independence, which is the main holiday of the country – I was also lucky enough to participate in the Dovlet Maslakhaty held at Ruhyyet Palace on September 23 in the year of "the Era of the People with Arkadag".
During the national forum, which was a remarkable event in the life of the Motherland, in order to summarize the results of the achievements achieved during this period, as well as to further advance the overall development of the country, and to further improve the standard of living of the people, decisions and solutions of national importance were adopted.
Also, addressing the meeting participants, the President of Turkmenistan said: "This year in Turkmenistan were held the Presidential elections. The elections were free and fair. Foreign guests who observed the elections praised them high. The main thing is, that the turkmen people highly appreciate the conduct of the elections. I express my gratitude to our beloved people for their trust and support to me." " I also note that we need legislation to keep up with the time. According to it, in the future, we should continue to improve our legislation related to the electoral system, and we should introduce the experiences gained in the elections into our national legislation" noted our esteemed President.
Our esteemed President drew the attention of the meeting participants to a very important event to be held in 2023. More specifically, "In 2023, we should hold the elections for deputies of the Mejlis of Milli Gengesh, velayat, etrap and city halk maslahaty, as well as members of Gengeshes. According to that, we should start preparing for these elections now." instructed our President. In accordance with the instructions of our esteemed President in the Central election commission the preparation works for the upcoming elections are continuing on a large scale.
Our esteemed President on the Dovlet Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan signed a number of documents. Among them are, as usual, on the basis of the principles of mercy and humanity of our forefathers to forgive the sins of citizens who have been convicted of a crime and repent for what they have done in good faith, also, the signing of the decrees on the awarding of state awards on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence raised the spirit of the participants of the event even more.
– Our people, who have eternal happiness are proud of our Hero Arkadag, our esteemed President and celebrate the holidays in a big way. Today, every citizen of our country lives a dignified, happy life, creates, builds, makes a worthy contribution to the prosperous development of our Motherland. The hearts of each us are filled with thanks to our President.
