CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
Under the wise leadership of our esteemed President in the year of "the Era of the People with Arkadag" of Revival of the new epoch of the Powerful state every day the country is fed with great achievements, proud historical events, and joyful celebrations. On December 12, 1995, at the 50th anniversary session of the United Nations General Assembly, which was written in golden letters in the history of the turkmen people, the Resolution on "permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan" was adopted with the unanimous support of 185 countries of the world.
Also, on June 3, 2015, at the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly, with the unanimous support of 193 countries, the Resolution on "the legal status of permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan" was adopted for the second time. These dates also became an important page in the history of the United Nations. This is the result of strengthening the level of Neutrality of our Motherland.
The permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan has its roots in the millennia-long history of our people. The policy of Neutrality is to move confidently towards a peaceful and happy future in the world.
Our esteemed President notes that: "The main principles arising from the legal status of Neutrality of our state, to be precise, strengthening peace and security on Earth, expanding friendly and brotherly relations, and ensuring stable development will be the priorities of the foreign policy of Independent Turkmenistan in the future."
Our Hero Arkadag: "Benevolent Neutrality is one of the humanistic principles that our ancestors have gradually adopted" and emphasizing that the roots of neutrality are inextricably linked with the history of our people.
With the efforts of our esteemed President our country is changing and developing day by day. In order to bring Neutral Turkmenistan to high levels of development, fundamental reforms are being carried out in all areas. Our Motherland Turkmenistan - competes with developed countries of the world in the field of education, culture, art, medicine, and computer technology.
Due to the widespread introduction of digital technologies and high-speed internet in educational centers, cooperation in the field of education is developing. Organizes distance learning and video tutorials with educational centers. At the same time modern electronic textbooks, manuals, video-audio materials, interactive-multimedia programs, instructional materials, information booklets are created on subjects with the introduction of digital educational technologies in all educational institutions. Also, based on the digital system, training sessions are conducted via telebridge.
The ancient benevolence, peace-loving, humanitarian qualities and traditions of the turkmen people are the core of the state's foreign policy based on positive Neutrality. Under the wise leadership of our esteemed President the great achievements are being made in the implementation of the foreign policy strategy of the country. The policy of our esteemed President in developing international cooperation and finding positive solutions to problems related to the development of humanity is supported by the world community.
Our state of Turkmenistan actively cooperates with the United Nations. On March 2, 1992, at the 82nd session of the 46th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations a decision was made that Turkmenistan was accepted as an equal member of this organization. Each of the member countries undertakes the conditions based on the basic principles of international relations expressed in the Charter of the United Nations.
December 12 was declared International Day of Neutrality by the General Assembly of the United Nations at the initiative of our Hero Arkadag.
Our people who have lived with great desire for centuries, live a happy life in our Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan which has become a true center of peace, harmony and friendship between nations. The permanent Neutrality achieved by our country encourages the development of international cooperation and good neighborly relations in the region.
Under the leadership of our esteemed President the 27th anniversary of the recognition of the country's permanent Neutrality is marked by wonderful events in our history as the foundation of spirit, peace, good relations, and well-being. Permanent Neutral Turkmenistan which is strengthening its worthy and effective position in the system of modern international relations is moving confidently towards new developments under the wise leadership of our esteemed President.
Our permanent Neutrality is a great happiness, a great dream! Permanent Neutrality is an expression of peaceful life and faith in the future. Under the leadership of our esteemed President our country has always followed the principles of neutrality, peace-loving, and good neighborliness, and in a short period of history it has gained a great reputation at the international level. Today Neutral Turkmenistan is widely known as a country that implements great works at the international level in terms of mutual understanding, friendship and development of the countries and peoples of the world.
Turkmenistan, being a permanent Neutral state, follows the values of humanity and the principles of democracy, implements unity and peace within the country, closely cooperates with the United Nations and other prestigious international organizations, and successfully carries out its humanitarian policy.
The foreign policy of our state of Turkmenistan is recognized by the twice determined permanent Neutrality international legal status by the United Nations Organization.
As our wise poet Magtymguly Pyragy pointed out: "Bir suprada taýýar kylynsa aşlar, Göteriler ol ykbaly türkmeniň" – today our state of Turkmenistan is celebrating the 27th anniversary of our permanent Neutrality. This holiday fully reveals the commitment of the state and people to the principles of peace, friendship and humanity.
