CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
In our democratic, legal and secular state under the reasonable leadership of our esteemed President of Turkmenistan, it is an important task for election commissions to conduct the elections in an organized manner in accordance with our democratic principles in Revival of the new epoch of the Powerful state. In this regard, the purpose of the main work of the Central Election Commission and its subordinate election commissions are to ensure strict compliance with the rules of the country's election legislation from the beginning to the end of the election season in accordance with the approved plan.
In order to provide organizational and methodological assistance to the members of the election commissions and other relevant persons participating in the organization of elections of deputies of Mejlis of Turkmenistan, memebers of velayat, etrap, city halk maslahats and Gengeshes - the important socio-political event which will be held on March 26, 2023 in our country, according to the Election code of Turkmenistan, the office of the Central Commission for holding Elections and referendums in Turkmenistan has developed many types of manuals, memos and regulations for use in elections. Some of them were published in two languages - Turkmen, Russian, and some in three languages - Turkmen, English, Russian.
More specifically: "Manual for velayat and Ashgabat city election commissions", "Manual for etrap, city election commissions", "Manual for district election commissions", "Manual for city in etrap, township, gengeshlik election commissions", "Manual for precinct election commissions", as well as "Manual for national observers", "Memo for foreign, international observers", "Manual for media representatives", "Manual to nomination of candidates", "Manual for candidates", "Memo for candidates’ trusted people" and "Regulation on the procedure for organizing and conducting voting in polling stations established near the diplomatic missions (consular offices) of Turkmenistan in foreign countries for the elections of deputies of Mejlis of Turkmenistan", publications such as the schedule of election activities.
These publications are of great importance in ensuring that election commissions properly organize their work related to the preparation and organization of elections, and ensure that election documents are properly formalized.
The published manuals, memos for this important socio-political event, the prepared regulations will help to conduct the elections of deputies of Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of velayat, etrap, city halk maslahats and Gengeshes in accordance with the requirements of the developed world.
