CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
In the Revival of the new epoch of the Powerful state the turkmen people are making noble efforts for the prosperity of our Motherland with their united labor. Taking into account the experience of the developed countries of the world and the requirements of the present time in our country which is confidently advancing on the path of great development, fundamental scientific and technical reforms are successfully implemented. By directing the possibilities of science and education to the interests of peace and friendship, Turkmenistan is constantly strengthening cooperation in science, technology and innovative technologies with major international organizations and scientific centers of foreign countries.
Every year on June 12, Science day is celebrated in spirit under the leadership of our esteemed President in our country. The purpose of this day is to use scientific and technological advances for peace and development for the benefit of human civilization. It also raises global awareness of the benefits of science and serves as a reminder to the international community of the need for science. The possibilities of science, education, culture and creative initiatives in the strengthening of peace and friendship, well-being and sustainable development in the world are limitless.
Currently, the state creates all conditions for our youth to receive science and education that meets world standards. Within the framework of long-term agreements, development of international cooperation in the scientific and technical sector, including successful implementation of joint projects and programs, creation of economic and living conditions for the work of scientists conducting scientific research and programmatic activities are being carried out to attract young people to science.
Identifying young talents, encouraging them to make scientific discoveries, and training scientific workers, the opportunities created by our esteemed President contribute to the strengthening of the country's scientific, technical and economic potential.
The treasury of the President of Turkmenistan for supporting young scientists, the center of Young scientists at the academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Youth organization named after Magtymguly of Turkmenistan and the creation of Councils of Young scientists in all scientific and educational institutions, scientific societies, the scientific-public magazine "Science and technology of Youth" and its website on the Internet, and the implementation of scientific and professional activities are a wide range of opportunities created for young people. This shows the great support and confidence shown to young scientists.
Science centers and museums operating in our country are not only a source of information about scientific achievements, it makes it possible a people to gain a deeper understanding of the world around us. A visit to a museum or science center enriches us with knowledge and develops our creative thinking. Visits to science centers and museums develops interest in science in young people.
