CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
In the Revival of the new epoch of the Powerful state under the wise leadership of our esteemed President, intensive work is being carried out, leading to historical changes in the political, economic and cultural life of our country. Every day covering on holidays and important events, written in golden letters in the layers of history, the holidays are widely celebrated in our dear Country. One of those holidays is the day of Culture and artists and poetry day of Magtymguly Pyragy.
The grand celebration of this holiday’s ceremony over the mountains is a symbol of the high regard that our Hero Arkadag, our esteemed President has for the turkmen culture and its great personalities.
On June 27 of every year a significant event in the cultural life of our country is solemnly celebrated as the day of Culture and artists and poetry day of Magtymguly Pyragy. As we all know, the Culture week dedicated to the day of Culture and artists and poetry day of Magtymguly Pyragy which is widely celebrated in our country is held in our capital Ashgabat, in the year of happy youth with Arkadag Serdar.
The holding of the Culture week every year, the organization of various events in it, shows the importance of our art, culture, national heritage. Our old traditions and customs are combined with the celebrations during this week. This is a great incentive for our young generations to be aware of the history of our state of Turkmenistan and our culture.
Within the framework of Culture week, a number of activities are held, including performances of creative groups, poetry evenings, exhibitions, scientific-practical and technical consultations, theatrical literary performances.
As our esteemed President noted, the turkmen people are widely known for their great art, classical norms and unrepeatable cultural heritage. Culture, art and poetry are inextricably linked. Throughout the thousand-year history of the turkmen people culture has been considered a great force that brings countries and peoples closer together and it has been put to unlimited respect. National culture is the face of the nation, its spiritual wealth, and the creativity of Magtymguly Pyragy is the spiritual crown of the turkmen.
Celebrating this double holiday together has a unique meaning. Magtymguly Pyragy's literary heritage is rich in pure emotions, lofty thoughts like a fallings from high mountains is a model school for cultural and artistic workers, writers, journalists, painters, sculptors, musicians, composers, artists.
The upbringing and national principles inherited from our ancestors have become a model school today. In particular, the great thinker Magtymguly Pyragy, who made a worthy contribution to world literature with his works of wisdom performed a great service to the entire human race. Magtymguly Pyragy's literary heritage is a treasure of our literature.
Magtymguly's creativity goes beyond the territory of turkmen and occupies a place in the soul of the whole humanity. The world-famous Russian scientist, orientalist, academician Yevgeny Eduardovich Bertels highly appreciated Magtymguly Pyragy's wisdom poems and foresight. He says: "Magtymguly is one of the precious gems of turkmen poetry, and in our time it shines with a dazzling light on the brow of a new ring... Magtymguly is a bowl of Jemshid." The literary creativity of the great Magtymguly Pyragy, who is equal to the Jamshid’s bowl is very rich. The literary heritage of the master of word, his intellectual works are classical and live among the turkmen people.
The turkmen people greatly value the literary heritage left by their wise poet son - Magtymguly. In 2024, our people will celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great orator of the East, at a solemn and highly organized level.
At present, much attention is paid to the study, and to extensive outreach activities of the literary heritage of our classic poets, who have contributed greatly to the development of turkmen literature. The works of our scientists and classical poets are of great importance in educating the young generation in the spirit of patriotism, honesty, humanitarianism.
The value of our wise poet Magtymguly Pyragy's poems with deep meaning is increasing over the years. Magtymguly's creative work is an invisible ocean. The people who quenched thirst from the poet's poetry are people whose word is reliable, decent itself, loyal to his promise, and follows honesty. Magtymguly Pyragy's dreams of an independent state, freedom, humanity have come true today - in our wonderful era.
In the Revival of the new epoch of the Powerful state the immense works being implemented are a unique confirmation of the strong foundations of peace and brotherly relations in our country and in the whole world under the leadership of our esteemed President, and that the dreams of our great thinkers are reflected in the world. Under the wise leadership of our esteemed President our dear people turn all the ideas about freedom, patriotism, moral purity, heroism, unity, hospitality, women's dignity, hard work, dignity, decency and the spiritual wealth of mankind into their lifestyles.
Culture and art, in the broadest sense of the word, determine the meaning and value of all the reforms taking place in our country, the issues of cultural policy in the field of humanitarianism are always in the focus of the attention of our esteemed President, and our Hero Arkadag, the National Leader of the turkmen people, the Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
We wish to our esteemed President and to our Hero and dear Arkadag, who is raising the destiny of the turkmen people, and flourishing their strong state health, long lifes, always be successful in the works for state-important, people benefit!
