CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
During in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, development of science and education in our Motherland, introduction of new scientific achievements into the economy and enhancement of the country’s scientific potential have been identified as priorities of state policy. Therefore, the work carried out in accordance with the state program “Revival of the new epoch of a powerful state: the national program of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052” is based on reliable scientific indicators and effective progress is being achieved in the development of science and education.
Of course, every day of the “International Year of Peace and Trust” is filled with holidays, celebrations and great achievements. Science Day is widely celebrated in our country on June 12 every year. The support and development of science great importance for the progress of the country. Science and education are a bridge connecting the historical resources of humanity with the valuable potential of the future. As our ancestors used to say: “Whoever doesn't read books sees what he sees and whoever reads books sees the world” being literate and knowledgeable – means learning about the world.
Our Hero Arkadag especially emphasizes that science and knowledge are the criteria of perfection for Turkmen youth. New modern methods of education, training, transfer of science and education and professional training are used in our country.
The country is implementing a number of measures to develop innovative technologies, identify talented youth and attract them to the sphere of high technologies and science. All this is a productive product of the ongoing work to educate a competitive, modern generation that meets world standards.
In our dear Motherland, modern conditions have been created for our younger generation to receive a world-class education. Cooperation with UNESCO, the UN specialized agency for education, science and culture, continues to develop in the education system of Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan. Currently, UNESCO chairs have been opened in two higher educational institutions of our country and UNESCO clubs in six within the framework of cooperation with the UN specialized agency for education, science and culture. Six comprehensive schools have joined the UNESCO associated schools network.
The initiatives of our Hero Arkadag and the efforts of our esteemed President are bringing positive results in our country. Every year, all first-graders are given “Bilimli” laptops. This is another clear example of care for the decent upbringing and harmonious development of the younger generation in our state.
In our sovereign state in the context of the new information environment and the widespread use of digital technologies, much attention is paid to the development of cooperative ties between scientific-research associations of different countries. Our country is ready to cooperate in a number of important areas, such as the development of 5G technologies, participation in space projects, cooperation in cybersecurity, the creation of data centers and training of personnel in the field of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. It is important to note that most of the software solutions needed for the transition to digital economy are developed by local programmers.
Where there is science, there are also benevolent, friendly relations. Science – is a tool for developing international relations. With the development of science, society is also improving.
We wish our esteemed President and Hero Arkadag, who is conducting humanitarian work in all areas, including science and education, health, long life and success in noble deeds for the benefit of the people and the country.
