CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
According to the noble tradition Independence Day, which is celebrated every year on September 27 – is the most important holiday in our country. Thanks to our Hero Arkadag, our Hero Arkadagly Serdar, during in the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state Independence Day is celebrated in our peaceful Turkmenistan with great pride and inspiration.
Because this holiday – is a wonderful celebration of the dream of our valiant ancestors about freedom and independence during the years of Independence, a bright path of goodness and progress of the Turkmen people to a happy tomorrow, stretching for millennia. In other words, Independence – is recognition of our people as a nation, an independent state. Sacred Independence granted our people inviolable freedom, spiritual and material values, elevated the honor and dignity of our country in the international arena. This date opened a new historical epoch in the life of our country, which is widely known in the world as a democratic state that considers a person to be the highest value. In our democratic, legal and secular state, expressing our loyalty to the covenants of our ancestors about a single, peaceful and harmonious coexistence and commitment to universal values, Independence Day – is approaching with great enthusiasm, celebrations and historical events.
For every Turkmen, there is nothing more holy than the Motherland. At the end of the last century our state gained the happiness that our people had dreamed of for many years – independence, sovereignty. Independence – is the most beautiful dream that our people have carried in their hearts for centuries. This sacred dream came true in the golden autumn of 1991. On the land of ancient Turan, a friendly and fraternal, politically stable, economically developed, constitutionally independent state of Turkmenistan was created guaranteeing the rights and freedoms of man and citizen.
Based on the humane motto of the National Leader of the Turkmen people “The state is for the people!” grandiose reforms are being carried out in our country, covering all spheres of life of the state and society. The continuation of the state initiatives of our Hero Arkadag to diversify the national economy is being successfully implemented under the leadership of the esteemed President. These positive reforms create favorable conditions for the formation of a multifaceted economic system capable of solving large-scale and important tasks in the country, developing the processing industry at a high level and stimulating the development of small and medium businesses.
Thanks to the policy of fundamental reforms implemented on the basis of “Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State: National Program of Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052” a high level of growth has been ensured in all sectors of the economy for the implementation of large investment projects. Rapid development in the fields of science, education, healthcare, culture and sports has ensured the achievement of great success in these areas.
These achievements have allowed our citizens to develop, strengthen and deepen patriotic feelings. The great love and trust of our people for their country and their state have become one of the main indicators ensuring the inviolability of the foundations of the Turkmen state and embodiment of the motto of unity of the esteemed President: “The Motherland is a Motherland only with the people! The state is a state only with the people!”
Of course, it should be noted with great pride and joy that 2025 declared the “International Year of Peace and Trust” has also become one of the dates rich in fruitful events and historical events of universal significance. Thus, united and patriotic Turkmen people are approaching the 34th anniversary of their sacred Independence with new achievements.
Let glory of the state of Peace – Loving Independent Turkmenistan extend from century to century and illuminate the world!
