CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
Under the wise leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar our Independent, permanently Neutral state is confidently moving forward towards a peaceful future. Every day in our Motherland – full of joyful events and holidays. Our beloved Motherland actively cooperates with countries of the world and largest international organizations in various fields, including political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, scientific and educational. The benevolent, peaceful, humane character and traditions of the Turkmen people, dating back to ancient times, form core of our state’s foreign policy based on positive Neutrality. The policy pursued by our esteemed President, who worthily continues the reasonable initiatives initiated by Hero Arkadag, supported by the international community.
The stable development of our Motherland – is closely linked to its foreign policy based on the status of positive Neutrality. By ensuring prosperity and peace in the country, he also led to the achievement of new heights by our permanently Neutral State as a reconciliation center. The opening of the United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia in Ashgabat and choice of our capital as the headquarters of this reputable organization attests to the great international trust placed in our country.
In 2025, declared the “International Year of Peace and Trust” various events, meetings, conferences held in our country and abroad, our country’s foreign policy based on the principles of Neutrality is widely promoted internationally. In this regard, large-scale preparations have already begun in our Motherland to hold high-level events in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality. This important event, which will be held at a high level, will leave an indelible mark on the memory of our people and history of our country, will increase the interest of the world community in our state.
The historical roots of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality are very unique, they originate from pages of the glorious history of the Turkmen, dating back thousands of years. As our scientist Arkadag writes in his work “Türkmenistan – Bitaraplygyň mekany” shrouding it in deep wisdom, principles of peace, harmony and humanism of our people today enrich their content with legal status of permanent Neutrality of our state and its strengthening.
Guided by the goals set out in the “Concept of Activities and Priorities of Turkmenistan within framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust” number of international events were organized in our country to mark the significant 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality and on the occasion of the declaration by the United Nations General Assembly of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust” and this noble principle continues consistently.
Neutrality status of our country – is a source of pride and happiness for the Turkmen people. Our permanent Neutrality, as well as Independence – is a celebration of inexhaustible positivity and celebration. Independence and permanent Neutrality – are two wings of the Turkmen people. Neutrality plays an important role in the prosperity of our Motherland, strengthening its economic power and increasing its prestige in the international community.
We wish National Leader Hero Arkadag, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, leading the Turkmen people to progress and development, health, long life, success in great deeds for the benefit of the people and the country!
