CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN

On the basis of wise, far-sighted actions, advices and instructions of the distinguished President, extensively studying international experience in holding elections, types of electoral systems, the system of election commissions, conducting explanatory work on this among citizens with electoral rights and election commissions, bringing it to the attention of the masses, as a result, fruitful work is being done to further improve the work of the electoral system.

On December 26, 2019, in order to become more familiar with the electoral system, the Academy of Civil service under the President of Turkmenistan and the Central Commission for holding elections and referendums in Turkmenistan, according to the approved plan, reinforced the knowledge of listeners in the specialty "Advanced training of employees of bodies of state powers and local self-government» of Academy of Civil Service.

Specialists of the Central Election Commission office gave a detailed idea of ​​what the Central Election Commission is doing, about the duties of election commissions, about the structure, electoral system, international experience, about changes and additions to the electoral legislation.

It should be noted that among the listeners who are raising the qualifications from the velayats of the country and the city of Ashgabat, there are people working in various positions of local executive bodies and local self-government bodies. In the course of improving their qualifications, the listeners received detailed answers to their questions concerning the electoral system and electoral legislation.
