CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
In Lebap velayat there was a meeting of voters with the candidate for the President of Turkmenistan - Durdygylych Orazov, the Chairman of Mary velayat Committee of the Agrarian Party.
The meeting was held in the State drama theater named after S.Seidi in Turkmenabat with the participation of heads of velayat administration, representatives of labor collectives, public organizations, mass media, youth and elders.
Presenting the candidate, nominated by the Agrarian Party, his trustee said that D. Orazov, being the head of the Farmer Union "Dayhan» of Sakarchage etrap of Mary velayat for the period 2000-2014 demonstrated organizational skills and responsible approach to work.
The contender to the presidency presented the election program theses, which stated that the policy of neutrality would be continued; as the strategic objective was defined the rural development and infrastructure for providing a high standard of living of the local population would be created.
D. Orazov assured that in case of his election as the President of the country, he would continue to implement "National Programme of social and economic development of Turkmenistan for 2011-2030." Velayats will get accelerated industrial development, at the same time a lot of attention will be paid to the improvement of social and living conditions of the population.
