CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
In Ashgabat, in "Mekan" palace there was a meeting of voters with the candidate for the post of President of Turkmenistan Durdygylych Orazov - Chairman of Mary velayat Committee of the Agrarian Party. Heads of local authorities, elders and community representatives, labor collectives of enterprises, the media and youth gathered in the hall.
The trustee of the candidate briefed the participants with D. Orazov biography, who was nominated from the Agrarian Party, having described him as a proactive, business manager, who has showed organizational skills and professionalism.
Outlining the position of his pre-election program, D. Orazov paid attention to the continuing modernization of the economy, strengthening export capacity, innovation. The issues of improving the population standard of living, development of science, education, health and culture will continue to be in the spotlight. Among the urgent tasks there are development of agriculture, rural areas, food security, agro-processing and development of private sector.
The candidate answered voters' questions, many of which touched upon the issue of acceleration of industrial development of velayats, improve the social conditions of the population.
