CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
All candidates for the highest government post voted during the election of the Head of the State, which started at 7 am.
The existing Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov voted at polling station No. 48 of Kopetdag etrap, Ashgabat, located in Annaniyaz Artyk school No. 68.
Maksat Annanepesov voted at polling station No. 4 of Ak Bugday etrap, Ahal Velayat (House of Culture of Gyami Settlement);
Jumanazar Annayev voted at polling station No. 13 in Mary (Kemine Mary Velayat Drama Theatre);
Bekmyrat Ataliyev voted at polling station No. 42 of Bagtiyarly etrap of Ashgabat (Oguzkhan Engineering and Technology University);
Ramazan Durdiyev voted at polling station No. 2 of Seydi, Lebap Velayat (Cultural and Recreation City Centre);
Meretdurdy Gurbanov voted at polling station No. 24 of Dashoguz (N. Andalib State Music and Drama Theatre);
Serdar Jelilov voted at the polling station No. 59 of Ak Bugday etrap, Ahal Velayat (House of Culture of Anau);
Suleimannepes Nurnepesov voted at polling station No. 35 of Turkmenbashy etrap, Balkan Velayat (House of Culture of Karabogaz);
Durdygylych Orazov voted at the polling station No. 14 of Mary (Mary Exhibition Hall).
All polling stations will be closed at 19:00 and votes counting will be started.
