CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN

In the Revival of the new epoch of the Powerful state a noble initiatives of our Hero Arkadag have been successfully continued by our esteemed President. Today, our beloved country is confidently advancing on the path of development and prosperity in deepening our national democratic principles. The unity of the people and the state in our country is the main starting point of all developments and progress. 

Our State Leader made his historic speech at the inauguration ceremony: "In the successful implementation of my goals, I rely, first of all, on our people, on their unity and integrity, on their understanding and courage", "A country is only a country with its people!" A state is only a state with its people!" wisely emphasized. 

It is note worthy that, the integrity of turkmen society, the internal harmony of all its layers in our dear Country is clearly evidenced by the organized elections of various levels, which are held on the basis of multipartyism, in the conditions of wide competition, in accordance with democratic principles. Because, the elections are a reflection and result of the democratization of the political system and civil society. 

As our State Leader closely support, elections in our Motherland are held in accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan, our national laws, generally recognized international norms, and the work of the election system is being improved more and more. Elections are an important socio-political event and one of the most basic political rights of citizens. 

In this sense, in order to get to know the operation of the electoral system thoroughly and comprehensively, in order to strengthen the knowledge gained in theoretical courses, the students of the State service academy under the President of Turkmenistan in the direction of "Raising the professional levels of employees of local bodies of executive power and local self-government bodies", on April 6, 2023, they had an industrial experience at the office of the Central election commission. 

In production experience, they include the work on conducting elections on a democratic basis, in an organized manner, preparing and holding elections and referendums, amendments and additions to the Election code of Turkmenistan, the creation and preparation of electoral groups, the electoral system, the right to vote, the implementation of a digital system for elections, international relations in the election system and international observers, as well as they were given a comprehensive overview about the elections of members of Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of velayat, etrap and city halk maslahats which were held in an organized manner in our country on March 26 of this year and their results, and interesting questions and answers were exchanged. 

The participants of the industrial experience held in a working environment expressed their gratitude to our esteemed President for the opportunities to study, work, and improve their skills in the increasingly democratic country - our Motherland, continuing the visionary and humanitarian policy of our Hero Arkadag in the new era. 

They also heartily congratulated our Hero Arkadag, our esteemed President and the entire turkmen people on the occasion of the World health day, which is celebrated on April 7 every year.
