CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN

In the Revival of the new epoch of the Powerful state the ancient democratic principles of our people are being successfully continued. Today, our beloved Country is confidently advancing on the path of development and prosperity in deepening democratic principles. The unity of the people and the state in our country is the main starting point of all developments and progress. 

Our State Leader in his historic speech at the inauguration ceremony: “In the successful implementation of my goals, I rely, first of all, on our people, on their unity and integrity, on their understanding and courage”, “A Country is only a Country with its people! A State is only a state with its people!” emphasized very wisely. 

The integrity of the turkmen society, the internal harmony of all its layers in our dear Land is clearly evidenced by the organized elections of various levels, which are held on the basis of multipartyism, in the conditions of wide competition, in accordance with democratic principles. Because, elections are a reflection and result of the democratization of the political system and civil society. 

As a result of the close support of our State Leader, elections in our Motherland are held in accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan, our national laws, generally recognized international norms and the work of the election system is being improved more and more. Elections are an important socio-political event and one of the most basic political rights of citizens. 

In order to have a comprehensive understanding about the work of the electoral system, in order to strengthen the knowledge gained in theoretical courses, the listenerts of the State service academy under the President of Turkmenistan in the direction of "Raising the professional levels of employees of local bodies of executive power and local self-government bodies" had a production experience at the office of the Central election commission on June 8, 2023. 

On their production experience they were given a comprehensive understanding about the works of preparation and holding elections on the democratic basis, preparing and holding elections and referendums, amendments and additions to the Election code of Turkmenistan, creation and rights of election groups, election system, right to vote, introduction of digital system for elections, international relations and international observers in election system, as well as the elections of deputies of Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of velayat, etrap and city halk maslahats, as well as members of gengeshes which were held on March 26 of this year and their results, as well as about the preparation works for the elections of members of gengesh of Aba Annayev township of Karizek etrap of Arkadag city which will be held on July 23, and interesting questions and answers were exchanged. 

The participants of the industrial experience which held in the working state expressed their gratitude to our esteemed President who continuing the visionary and humanistic policy of our Hero Arkadag in the new era for the opportunity to study, work and improve their skills in the country of democracy – in our Motherland. 

They also heartily congratulated our Hero Arkadag, our esteemed President and whole turkmen people on the occasion of Science day which is celebrated every year on June 12.
