CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
The registration of candidates for the elections of members of gengesh of Aba Annayev settlement of Karizek etrap of Arkadag city, which will be held on July 23, 2023, was completed on June 27.
The registration of candidates was carried out by the Aba Annayev settlement election commission in accordance with democratic principles. Registered candidates were handed out the identity cards of prescribed format.
According to the article 48 of the Election code of Turkmenistan, and also in order to ensure the conditions of openness and transparency of the election season, the information about the registered candidates by electoral districts will be continuously made available to the public.
Also, in the near future, the candidates for the membership of gengesh of Aba Annayev settlement will use the same opportunities and rights given to them to conduct the preaching works and start meeting with voters within the electoral districts.
According to the Election code, in elections, political parties, public associations, citizens of Turkmenistan, candidates, candidates' trustees are provided with free preaching works in accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan. Because the main goal of propaganda works is the nomination and selection of worthy candidates for elections. The preaching works starts from the day the candidate is registered in the respective election commission and ends one day before the elections day.
