CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
In Mary, a meeting of voters was held with the candidate for the post of the President of Turkmenistan - Ramazan Durdyev, Director of Seidi oil refinery, Deputy of Mejlis in the State Drama theater named after M.Kemine of Mary velayat.
The trustee of the candidate, nominated by the initiative group of citizens, briefed the participants with the biography of R.Durdyev, noting his extensive experience, high professionalism.
Presenting his election program, R.Durdyev emphasized the development of deposits of hydrocarbons and their processing, export diversification. Among the tasks the candidate listed the rational use of resources, innovation development of economy, improvement of transport and communication spheres. As considers the candidate, it is necessary to increase investments into the agricultural sector for the development of virgin lands, increase the capacity of reservoirs, purchase of agricultural machinery. Protection of citizens' rights to acquire decent housing, education, employment and others will be in the spotlight.
Answering the questions of voters, R. Durdyev told about planned measures to improve living standards of village workers, development of sports and recreation movement, culture, health resort infrastructure, transport, housing construction.
