CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
In our country on individual constituencies continues preparatory work on elections instead of the early retired deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the Halk maslahaty and the Gengesh, which will be held on the last Sunday of March of this year.
In accordance with article No. 44 of the Electoral Code of Turkmenistan, from January 30, 2019, began the nomination of candidates for these elections.
The right to nominate candidates belongs to the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan, as well as groups of citizens living in respective constituencies.
The nomination of candidates will end on February 28, 2019.
