CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN

With the purpose of organizing the elections of the deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the velayat, etrap, town halk maslahaty and Gengeshes on March 25, 2018, with the participation of representatives of the Central Election Commission and deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, training seminars were held with members of the election commissions of the velayats, Ashgabat city, etraps, towns, districts and heads of committees of political parties in the velayats and the Ashgabat city.

In the period from February 28 to March 7, 2018, the staff of the Central Election Commission administration conducted training seminars with election commissions of cities, towns, gengeshliks in etraps and precinct election commissions, national observers and representatives of the media.

The seminar held in the Akhal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, Mary velayats and the Ashgabat city gave a detailed explanation of the procedure for holding elections, observation of elections and coverage of election events, as well as the procedure for using election documentation.
