CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
For the purpose of organized preparation and holding of the upcoming elections on March 31, 2019 in place of retired deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the velayat, etrap, city Halk maslahaty and Gengeshes, in separate districts, are actively continues meetings of candidates with voters.
Representatives of political parties and civil groups take part on these meetings. During the meetings, candidates submit their election programs; proxies of applicants acquaint voters with biographies of candidates. It is also important to note that all candidates are given equal rights and opportunities to familiarize voters with their electoral programs and campaign. During the meetings, the candidates answer the questions of voters, and also urge them to actively participate in this important social and political event.
