CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
On the basis of the proposal put forward by the distinguished President, on September 12 of this year, at the 106th general meeting of the 73rd session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, Member States unanimously adopted Resolution “2021 - International year of peace and trust”.
This clearly testifies about the comprehensive support of the foreign policy of our Neutral state by the world community in the name of ensuring universal peace, security and sustainable growth.
Our Homeland, which leads "Open Door" policy, is currently implementing peaceful, friendly, mutually beneficial political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation with neighbors and other countries of the world.
Turkmenistan in the current difficult conditions confidently puts forward humanitarian initiatives which has historical importance in the world space, about protection of calmness, protection of environment, ensuring economic, energy and food security, and effectively fights against global threats.
Turkmenistan is implementing a policy of good neighborliness not only within its region, but also with all other concerned countries. And this is a guarantee of the success of international affairs carried out by our country.
The unanimous adoption at the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly by the member states of the Resolution “2021 - International year of peace and trust” is another evidence of the high international authority of our Independent, Neutral Homeland, as well as universal support of the effective initiative of the respected President.
