CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
Based on the humanitarian initiatives of our National Leader, democratic principles of our peaceful country are becoming more and more advanced, to such an extent - meetings of the registered candidates for the elections of the members of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan with the electorate - members of velayats and Ashgabat city halk maslahaty has started.
Under the Electoral Code of Turkmenistan, during the election of members of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan candidates and their trustees are free to carry out their campaign activities. The campaigning begins on the day of the candidate's registration and ends on the day before the election.
During the election campaigns, electorate are getting acquainted with the biographies of the candidates and with the plan actions of our esteemed President aimed at the implementation of the national and universal initiatives.
These campaigns are held actively and transparently with the trustees of the candidates, national observers, also candidates answer electorate questions during these campaigns.
These are necessary steps to elect worthy of the candidates on election day.
