CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
Campaign activities are underway for the election of members of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan which is scheduled to take place on the last Sunday of March 2021.
Bodies of the halk maslahaty of the velayat, Ashgabat city – meetings of voters and candidates are held in all parts of the country in an organized manner.
Under the wise leadership of our esteemed President, national observers, as well as the mass media, are actively involved in these meetings who will be witnessing another manifestation of national democracy in the prosperous era of our sovereign state.
Candidates registered by the Central Election Commission have held 13 meetings so far up to date. At those meetings, 58 candidates met with voters – members of local halk maslahaty.
At the meetings, voters have the opportunity to get acquainted with the biographies of the candidates through the speeches of the candidate's trustees. Also, candidates are actively introducing their action plans to participants in detail.
During these meetings, candidates are also responding to the questions of the voters.
Candidates meetings with voters will continue until March 26 as part of their campaign activity.
