CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
Pursuant to articles 44 and 45 of the Electoral Code of Turkmenistan, Serdar Gurbangulyyevich Berdimuhamedov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, was nominated by the Democratic party of Turkmenistan on February 14, 2022 for the Presidential elections of Turkmenistan which will held on Marçh 12, 2022.
The IX extraordinary çongress of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan for nomination of candidate was held in the central assembly house of public organizations of Turkmenistan.
The forum was attended by delegates, as well as representatives of public organizations and the media. Serdar Gurbangulyyvich Berdimuhamedov is the first candidate nominated by the political parties of Turkmenistan.
