CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
As is known, on May 19, 2022, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, at the head of the relevant delegation of Turkmenistan, made a working visit to the city of Kazan of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. As a guest of honor, he took part in the XIII International Economic Summit "Russia - the Islamic World: KazanSummit 2022", and also held a number of bilateral meetings.
Our Hero Arkadag visited the Kazan EXPO International Exhibition Center, the venue of the summit. Then Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the plenary session of the XIII International Economic Summit Russia-Islamic World: KazanSummit 2022. At the beginning of his speech, the Hero Arkadag thanked the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov for inviting him to the celebrations dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria.
Addressing the participants of the forum, esteemed Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underscored that the holding of the Russia-Islamic World Economic Summit in Kazan clearly testifies to Tatarstan's special role in strengthening friendly relations and mutual understanding between Russia and the countries of the Islamic world.
By the way, this representative forum has become an open international forum in recent years to discuss issues of economic cooperation, mutually beneficial relations and the implementation of joint projects in the regions of the Russian Federation and the countries of the Islamic world.
The ceremony of awarding the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the highest state award of Tatarstan with the Order of "For Merits to the Republic of Tatarstan" was held at the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. In a solemn ceremony, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov presented the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the Order "For Merits to the Republic of Tatarstan" and expressed his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the occasion.
Our Hero Arkadag received this high state award for his special services in strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Turkmenistan.
