CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
On June 11, 2022, our esteemed President held a working meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers through digital systems. At the workshop - adoption of the Ashgabat Declaration at the Inter-Parliamentary forum of Central Asian states and the Russian Federation on May 12, 2022 in Ashgabat as a document of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, also it is reported that Turkmenistan has received good news that it has been unanimously elected to the chairmanship of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.
This is another evidence of the high appreciation of Turkmenistan, the foreign policy pursued by the Head of state, and the results of the large-scale reforms that have taken place in our country in general.
Our esteemed President noted with satisfaction that this decision was a clear sign of the fruitful cooperation of our country with the United Nations. Traditional relations with the UN are complemented by new, concrete content each year. The state Leader emphasized that Neutral Turkmenistan would continue to play an active role in further cooperation with the United Nations, including in the development of inter - parliamentary relations.
The permanent Neutrality policy of our Sovereign state has opened up new areas of cooperation with the United Nations. Turkmenistan is making a significant contribution to the development of international cooperation with active, innovative initiatives by implementing large-scale reforms in all areas. This clearly shows that all countries of the world and reputable international organizations, first and foremost, the United Nations have a great interest in the foreign policy of our country, their important initiatives, and unanimously supports of them, noticed our esteemed President.
Our state Leader cordially congratulated our compatriots on the unanimous election of Turkmenistan to the post of Vice-Chairman of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, wished everyone good health, prosperity and every success in their works for the prosperity of our Neutral Motherland.
