CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN

Each day of our Sovereign state at the new Powerful period of new era nourished by proud historical events that make your heart rejoice. One of such historical events is the VI Summit of the Heads of the Caspian littoral states, which was held on June 29 in Ashgabat under the chairmanship of our esteemed President, it has gained internationally great importance. This politically significant intergovernmental event based on peace and good-neighbourly relations has been widely reported in the world's media.

The history of good-neighbourliness among the peoples of the Caspian countries dates back to many centuries. During this time many unique experiences of interaction were accumulated. At the VI Summit of the Heads of the Caspian littoral states, the states also agreed to further strengthen and enrich these relations, to develop humanitarian relations and to create further conditions for the expansion of cultural cooperation.

The positive attitudes of its participants and their commitment to common creative goals have become a clear manifestation of close cooperation in the Caspian sea. Thus, the pentapartite meeting reaffirmed that Turkmenistan once again clearly showed it has very responsible approach to the development of multifaceted cooperation in the Caspian region, which has great potential.

Also, that day the Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, the  il yaşulusy of Turkmenistan, met with the heads of state who arrived in Ashgabat to attend the sixth Caspian Summit. The heads of the friendly states congratulated our Hero Arkadag, the Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh on his 65th birthday, they sincerely wished good health, happiness, inexhaustible strength and great success in the work of the state and society for the benefit of the development and prosperity of our Motherland.

Also, during the meeting in accordance with the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, the ceremony of awarding the Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the highest award of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the order of the "Altyn bürgüt" ("Altyn Kyran"), well-known and highly respected public figure in Kazakhstan, for his great personal contribution to the strengthening of friendly, good-neighbourly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and their fraternal peoples.

With the loud applauses of the participants of the ceremony, the Head of the friendly state awarded our Hero Arkadag with the order of the" Altyn bürgüt" award for distinguished service to individuals, as well as prominent public figures and politicians for their special services to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Afterwards, our Hero Arkadag expressed his sincere gratitude for the high award and said that he accepted the award as a high tribute to the turkmen people and Turkmenistan's positive Neutrality policy.

We also sincerely congratulate the il ýaşulusy of Turkmenistan our Hero Arkadag, a prominent public and political figure of our time, with this high award.
