CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
As you know, in the framework of preparation works for the elections of members of gengesh of Aba Annayev township of Karizek etrap of Arkadag city which will be held on July 23, 2023, according to the approved schedule of election activities, specialists of the Central election commission held a training session with the members of the newly created Arkadag city, Karizek etrap, Aba Annayev township and precinct election commissions. During the session the order of organization of the upcoming elections was explained, more specifically, the electoral law, the system of election commissions operating in the elections, the powers of the Arkadag city, Karizek etrap, Aba Annayev township and precinct election commissions were explained.
Also, at the session in connection with the season of nominating candidates which started on May 24 and registering candidates starting on June 3, a comprehensive understanding was given about the process of nominating and registering candidates for the membership of gengesh of Aba Annayev township, the types of election documents and ballots, as well as the process of drawing up protocols on the results of voting by the relevant election commissions.
Being local self-governing bodies gengeshes actively participate in the implementation of state policy, large-scale reforms and integrated development programs.
Emphasizing that the elections of members of gengesh of Aba Annayev township is an important step on the way to deepening democratic principles and is a reliable foundation for the successful implementation of positive reforms, the members of the election commissions assured that they will spare no effort in order to conduct the election season at a high level.
