CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
In accordance with Articles №44, №45 of the Electoral Code of Turkmenistan, December 14, 2016 at the conference of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Myalikgulyevich nominated as a candidate for the Presidential elections of Turkmenistan to be held February 12, 2017. Events for the nomination of the candidate held in the hall of the mejlises center of the public organizations of Turkmenistan.
In accordance with the Electoral code of Turkmenistan the right to nominate candidates belongs to political parties registered prior to the day of elections, as well as groups of citizens.
The nomination of candidates for the elections of the President of Turkmenistan will be held from 14 December 2016 to 12 January 2017.
