CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN

In Turkmenabat city, in the State Drama Theatre named after S.Seidi, it was held a meeting of the Lebap velayat voters with the candidate for the superior political office – Head of Akhal velayat’s Economics and Development Department Serdar Jelilov. It brought together the leaders of local authorities, employees of enterprises, workers of daikhan associations, members of the public, mass media, elders, and youth.

An agent of the candidate highlighted the hard worker, responsibility and self-starter as the chief traits of S.Jelilov’s character, and that affected the decision of the citizens’ initiative group to nominate him as a candidate for the Presidency.

S.Jelilov submitted a vision of the country’s development, arrangement for the continuation of international cooperation, the economy strength, improvement of population’s social security system. As mentioned, in the regions there will be commissioned new facilities, created jobs, and supported entrepreneurship.

There will be taken the measures on ramping up the export of chemical, textile, agricultural products. Top-priority significance will be given to the development of fuel-energy and transport-communication sector. The issues of health protection, development of sports movement will remain in the focus of attention.
