CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
The President of Turkmenistan voted at the polling station No. 48 of Kopetdag Etrap of Ashgabat located in Annaniyaz Artyk School No. 68.
There are 1363 registered voters at this station. The Head of the State came to the voting qith his father Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov and mother Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova, son two daughters and grandchildren.
The parents of the President and the children were the first who implemented their constitutional right to vote. After Acting Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov placed ballot paper in ballot box.
Large group of foreign and Turkmen journalists participated during the voting.
Presidential Elections started at 7 am. The voting undergoes at diplomatic missions and consulates of Turkmenistan abroad. The polling stations will be closed and 19:00 and votes counting will be started.
