CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
Continues organized preparations for the upcoming elections on March 31, 2019 in place of the retired deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the velayat, etrap, city Halk maslahaty and Gengeshes.
In order to organize the preparation and holding of the upcoming elections in accordance with the approved program of activities, from 4 to 5 February of this year, was conducted training seminars with the election commissions of velayats, etraps, cities and districts. This seminar was conducted by staff of Central Election Commission.
At seminars held with election commissions, was provided a detailed explanation about the procedure for holding elections established by law, the procedure for using election documentation and creating all conditions for citizens to exercise electoral rights. Also during the training seminar, through organizational dialogue, were discussed organizational issues of this socio-political event.
