CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
In accordance with article 6 of the Electoral çode of Turkmenistan, a total of 2,726 national observers have been registered in the Central election çommission for the March 12 Presidential election in our country.
544 by the democratic party of Turkmenistan, 355 by the party of Industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, 390 by the Agrarian party of Turkmenistan, 520 by the Trade union of Turkmenistan, 290 by the Women's union of Turkmenistan, 525 by the Magtymguly Youth organization of Turkmenistan, 84 civic groups, and 18 were nominated by candidates.
47.76 per cent of the national observers are women.
As part of its power, national observers monitor the legitimacy of the election campaign.
This shows that the elections of the President of Turkmenistan will be held in our holy country on the basis of transparency and openness.
