CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
Meetings of the candidates for the Presidency of Turkmenistan with the electorate in the velayats and in Ashgabat city to present their programs ended on March 9, 2022. A total of 55 meetings were held in our country on equal terms.
The first meeting was held in Dashoguz velayat and the last one in our capital Ashgabat city.
As part of the preaching work a total of 9 candidates' program were shown on "Altyn Asyr: Turkmenistan", "Miras", "Yashlyk", and "Turkmenistan" TV channels, as well as c andidates' biographies and programs were published in Turkmenistan and Neutral Turkmenistan newspapers and made available to the public on an equal footing.
Campaigning ends on the day before the election, i.e. preaching activities are banned on March 11.
