CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
Candidate for the post of the President of Turkmenistan – Vice Chairman of the Food Industry State Association Maksat Annanepesov had a meeting with his constituents in the Ahal Velayat.
The elders, representatives of local authorities, public organizations, labour groups and farmers' associations in the region were introduced with the working career of the candidate nominated by the initiative group of citizens. Describing the candidate as a professional and initiative manager, respectable person, faithful to the interests of the country and the people, the candidate’s agent recommended the voters to cast their votes in favor of candidate M.Annanepesov.
Then presidential candidate M. Annanepesov presented his election campaign, emphasizing the aspiration to continue the open-door policy, widen international cooperation and further increase the authority of Turkmenistan as a peace-loving country. The main areas of the internal policy are to widen and deepen the reforms in the social welfare system, the transport and communications, oil and gas construction sectors, increase the efficiency of international exhibitions, forums, scientific conferences.
