CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN

Under the wise leadership of our esteemed President the Revival of the new epoch of the Powerful state great progress has been made, and enriched with the historical events. One of such historical events took place on December 14 of the year of "the era of the People with Arkadag". On the same day the first trilateral summit of the Heads of state of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey was held at the Congress center of the "Avaza" national tourism zone under the chairmanship of our esteemed President. 

By establishing active cooperation with various countries of the world and major international organizations, our esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov is increasing the prestige of our state at the international level. 

The cultural relations which are based on history, bring the Turkmen, Azerbaijani and Turkish peoples closer to each other and unite them. Here we remember the wise lines of our sage poet Magtymguly Pyragy: 

Yrak bolma gadryň bilen gardaşdan, 
Her iş tutsaň, ol guwanar ýanyňdan.

In summary, the peoples of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey are connected by long historical friendship, language, religion, cultural heritage and common humanitarian principles. 

As our esteemed President noted, the common historical, cultural and spiritual traditions of the peoples of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey formed over the centuries, strengthen friendly relations and serve as a solid foundation for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation today. 

Currently these countries are carrying out joint large-scale works in various sectors within the framework of multifaceted cooperation, where the priorities of energy, transport-logistics, trade-economic systems have been determined. In trilateral relations great importance is attached to the integration of efforts to introduce high technologies. 

During this summit important areas of cooperation in the transport and energy sector mentioned above and other issues on the agenda of intergovernmental relations were discussed. 

One of the important issues discussed at the summit was to study the possibilities of transferring Turkmenistan's energy resources to European markets. 

This summit held on the basis of peace and good neighborliness, friendship and brotherhood gained great importance at the international level. This forward-looking political summit was widely covered in the world's mass media. 

In addition, after the conclusion of the trilateral meeting of the heads of state there was a ceremony of signing the documents on the results of the meeting. 

After the summit, the heads of the foreign policy agencies of the three countries spoke to the media and announced the results of the meeting. 

Also, on that day Chairman of Milli Gengesh of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan our Hero Arkadag met with the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Turkey who came to our country to participate in the first trilateral summit. 

Thus, the "Avaza" meeting of the Presidents of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey was an important historical event in the development of traditional turkmen-azerbaijani-turkish relations of friendship and brotherhood. 

The trilateral summit of the Heads of state of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey which was held for the first time in our Motherland on the initiative of our Sovereign state is a historic event and will pave the way for reaching new, forward-looking levels in the path of mutually advantageous cooperation in line with the current situations.
