CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN

As it is known, on December 21 of this year, the President of Turkmenistan held a comprehensive mobile meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in the new, modern administrative center of Ahal velayat.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Mejlis of the  Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan “On granting the city status to the new, modern administrative center of Ahal velayat and naming it”, “Educational, health care, cultural institutions and art building built in the new, modern administrative center of Ahal velayat were awarded by prominent figures of the turkmen people about naming names” spoke about the contents of the decision of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan.

Also, taking into account the wishes and desires of the residents of Ahal velayat and citizens of the country, petitions of public associations and the proposal of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On the procedure for solving issues of administrative and territorial structure of Turkmenistan”, the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, a new, modern, Ahal velayat he gave the good news that he decided to give the administrative center the status of a city with regional rights, to name the new, modern administrative center of Ahal velayat “Arkadag” and henceforth to call it “Arkadag city of Ahal velayat”.

The naming of the beautiful administrative center of Ahal velayat as the city of Arkadag is the main joyful event of the year and a clear celebration of the strength of the Motherland, our people, our Hero Arkadag, and our Arkadagly Serdar.

Our forefathers were a school of upbringing in honoring our glorious ancestors, raising the younger generation in the spirit of pride for our fatherland, and helping young people to grow up with a strong spirit and a healthy body.

Following the motto “Ýagşydan at galar”, the ancient history, unique traditions and rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people are being restored and deeply studied, and in the era of spiritual awakening of the Turkmen, a great tribute was paid to the people who made a great contribution to the political, socio-economic and cultural development of our country at various times. are laid down, their names are perpetuated.

In this regard, in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On the procedure for naming and renaming state enterprises, organizations, institutions, geographical and other objects”, by the decision of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, naming the Children's Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Center after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Naming the high art building in the central park after the outstanding politician of our time, the great son of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag and henceforth calling it the “Arkadag Building”, naming the International equestrian high school after the master breeder Aba Annaev, who created the leading generations of the wonderful Ahalteke horses, whose glory spread to the world., naming the secondary vocational school of teaching after the hard-working and talented teacher, brave soldier, inspiring person Berdimuhamet Annaev, naming the secondary vocational school of medicine after Sachly Dursunova, doctor of medical sciences, Ahal horse riding school to name the national hero of the Turkmen people Gorogly, to name the provincial library after the classical thinker and poet of the Turkmen people, to name the drama theater after Aman Gulmammedov, one of the founders of the Turkmen theater art, to name the special art school after the teacher Sahy Jepbarov, to name the children's art school after the master of the Turkmen people It was decided to name the musician Shukur Bagshy.

This shows that the Turkmen people are able to use their celebrities to a decent level.

Speaking about the main features of the city of Arkadag, built in the ancient Ahal land in the new historical era, it is the first “smart” city built on an integrated basis, it is ecologically clean, and it is a city registered by experts of the Guinness book of records for regional ecological measures. Also, ecologically clean electric vehicles, i.e. the world's electric buses and electric cars, will operate in this city.

To sum up, it is planned to build a new, modern provincial center in two phases, in accordance with world standards, on a plot of land with a total area of 1,002 hectares in the ancient Ahal land.

Currently, the construction works of Arkadag city of Ahal velayat, which sits at the head of Kopetdag, are in full swing.
