CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN

In the cultural and sports center of Turkmenbashi city of Turkmenbashi oil refinery there was the meeting with voters of candidate for the post of President of Turkmenistan - Ramazan Durdyev the deputy of Mejlis, director of Seidi oil refinery. The meeting brought together heads of local authorities, representatives of labor collectives, community elders, youth.

The participants were familiarized with the biography of the candidate nominated by the initiative group of citizens, with his personal and professional qualities. The trustee of R.Durdyev described him as a highly skilled specialist and respected person.

R.Durdyev, outlined the objectives of his pre-election program to continue development of hydrocarbon deposits, their processing, improvement of fuel-energy complex infrastructure, petrochemistry development, export diversification of "blue fuel" and electricity. The construction of schools and kindergartens, universities, hospitals, health resort and sanatorium centers and other social facilities will continue. Among the key objectives there are strengthening the material-technical base of agricultural sector, support of private sector of the economy.

R.Durdyev, answering questions from the audience, explained the items relating to the plans for development of the western region of the country, further arrangement of the National tourist zone "Avaza", providing people with housing, etc.
