CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN

The meeting of voters of Lebap province with R.Durdyev, the candidate for the post of President of Turkmenistan, director of Seydi Oil Processing Plant, member of the National Parliament, took place in Turkmenabat. The S.Seydi State Drama Theater hosted the meeting that was attended by leader of the local government authorities, members of the local community, representatives of labor collectives, farmers and villagers, elders, young people and the media.

The constituency agent briefed the attendees on the biography of R.Durdyev nominated by the initiative group of citizens, and highlighted his initiatives and high degree of professionalism.

R.Durdyev voiced his intention to ensure the realization of the economic potential of our resource-rich country; continue the development of natural treasuries, and define the prospective routes for export of energy resources.

Presenting his vision of developing the Eastern region, the candidate stressed that construction and development in villages and towns would be continued; special focus would be placed on the development of education, healthcare, sports, culture and improvement of tourism here, as well as throughout the country.
